How my journey began
For a long time, I thought becoming meant becoming someone else. I admired people who seemed confident, certain of themselves, effortlessly who they were. Without realizing it, I spent years collecting pieces of other people, hoping that if I learned what they loved, thought the way they thought, or lived the way they lived, maybe one day I would finally become enough.
Eventually, I realized I wasn't trying to become someone new. I was trying to remember the person I had always been before I started believing I wasn't enough. That realization changed everything. Instead of searching outside of myself, I began learning how to listen inward. Through writing, quiet walks, unexpected conversations, and moments that couldn't always be explained by logic alone, I started building a relationship with my intuition. I also came to understand those quiet nudges as conversations with my spirit guides, gentle reminders to trust what I already knew deep down.
Around that same time, I picked up the flute. I thought I was learning an instrument, but it became another teacher. It showed me where I was holding my breath, where I was afraid to take up space, and how healing often asks us to sound imperfect before we find our own rhythm. The more I paid attention, the more I realized the moments that changed me were rarely the loud ones. They were the quiet mornings with my journal, the walks where I finally heard the answer I'd been searching for, the afternoons spent writing, and the evenings I chose reflection over distraction. Those moments became rituals, and over time, they changed my life.
That's how Wander Within Studio was born. Not because I had all the answers, but because I wanted to create the kind of moments that had changed me. We spend so much of our lives waiting for the perfect time to check in with ourselves, after work, next weekend, when life slows down, but that moment rarely comes. I wanted to create something that gently interrupts the noise. Not to tell people what to believe or how to live, but to offer a quiet invitation to pause.
Whether it's a letter arriving in the mail, a poem that says exactly what someone couldn't find the words for, or a simple moment of reflection, my hope is that what I create encourages people to slow down, become a little more comfortable with uncertainty, feel a little less alone, and reconnect with themselves. I hope these moments become small rituals—an excuse to make a cup of tea, put your phone away, light a candle, breathe a little deeper, and remember that your own inner voice deserves to be heard.
Because I don't think we're here to find ourselves. I think we're here to remember who we've always been beneath the noise.
If you've wandered here, I'm grateful our paths crossed.
